Entries in Engagement Sessions (6)

Rachel & Brandon – 7/22/07

On Sunday, I caught up with Rachel and Brandon at the Shoreby Club in Bratenahl for a fun engagement session. We explored the club’s scenic grounds to capture a great set of images. The clear sky, Lake Erie shoreline, rustic stairway and flowers made excellent backdrops. I'll be photographing Rachel and Brandon’s wedding in January at Cleveland’s Renaissance Hotel. It should be a wonderful affair.

Jody & Kevin – 7/2/07

I have been pretty busy for the past few days. On Monday morning, I headed to Coventry to meet up with Jody and Kevin for an engagement session. It is really nice to shoot in such unique and diverse locations – especially when the areas are meaningful to the couples. I’m looking forward to documenting Jody and Kevin’s wedding day in August.

Debbie & Jerry – 7/1/07

I’ve really been looking forward to this engagement session as I have known Debbie since my days at Kent State University. She is also good friends with my sister-in-law Shannon, who will be in Debbie and Jerry’s wedding this September. I spent the morning with this fun, urban couple shooting near the Center Street swing bridge and exploring the Flats. This area offers fantastic backdrops.

Nicole & Michael – 5/20/07

I met Nicole and Michael in Brecksville on Sunday, May 20, for a great engagement session. We captured several shots around the square (where this energetic couple met) and then headed to the Metroparks (great suggestion Mike) to round out an excellent morning. If you are a Cavs fan, you might recognize Nicole from The Q, where she is the in-game host. I’m really looking forward to documenting Nicole and Mike’s wedding this coming fall.

May 6 Engagement Sessions

It was a busy and productive Sunday. After sharing a quick breakfast with the family, I headed to University Circle for an engagement session with Julie and Ryan. Then I drove back to Hudson and met up with several other photographers for a get-together at Andrew and Jenelle Jordan’s house (thanks guys). Later that evening, I met Kristin and Matt for their engagement session. Here are some of my favorites from the day.

April 21 Engagement Sessions

On Saturday, April 21, I had back-to-back engagement sessions with Doina and Eric and Allison and Ryan at University Circle. Doina and Allison work together. So, it was fun to capture their respective engagement shots on the same day.

Conditions were bright and contrasty -- not a cloud in the sky. It was a nice break from the rainy, cooler weather that seemed to define the first half of April. I arrived early to survey the grounds and find a few unique shooting spots.

The sky was extremely blue.

Signs of spring. Finally, some green on those trees.
