Diane & Chris – 7/27/07
I often travel throughout Ohio and beyond to document weddings. It was a change of pace to cover a Friday-evening wedding in my hometown. Diane and Chris (another great couple) were married at Hudson Presbyterian Church. Prior to the ceremony, we captured some fun images around downtown. I really like the shot on the fire escape. The day ended with a reception at the Hudson Holiday Inn.

Rachel & Brandon – 7/22/07
On Sunday, I caught up with Rachel and Brandon at the Shoreby Club in Bratenahl for a fun engagement session. We explored the club’s scenic grounds to capture a great set of images. The clear sky, Lake Erie shoreline, rustic stairway and flowers made excellent backdrops. I'll be photographing Rachel and Brandon’s wedding in January at Cleveland’s Renaissance Hotel. It should be a wonderful affair.

Liz & John – 7/14/07
I had the pleasure of documenting Liz and John’s wedding at Myers University in downtown Cleveland. What a kind and down-to-earth couple! Valarie from Kirkbrides did an excellent job of coordinating the details throughout the day. It was a fun wedding – from the outdoor ceremony to the lively reception led by Tony Quarles & The Discovery Band. Here are a few of my favorite images from the celebration.

Michelle & Brandon – 7/7/07
I knew this was going to be special wedding when I met this couple more than a year ago – not just because of the infamous “777” date that generated so much attention in the wedding world. Michelle and Brandon’s love for each other (and their friends and family) was apparent throughout their planning and the wedding day. They were married at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Cuyahoga Falls. A great reception followed at Firestone Country Club. Guys, I enjoyed getting to know you during the past year and had a blast working with you. I look forward to a continued friendship.

Jaclyn & Eric – 7/6/07
On Friday, I documented Jaclyn and Eric’s wedding at Our Lady of Peace Church in Canton. The evening had a timeless feel. The couple was even chauffeured in a vintage Chrysler to their reception at Glenmoor Country Club (one of my favorite locations). Megan and the team at Glenmoor did an awesome job (as always) of catering to the bride, groom and their guests.

Jody & Kevin – 7/2/07
I have been pretty busy for the past few days. On Monday morning, I headed to Coventry to meet up with Jody and Kevin for an engagement session. It is really nice to shoot in such unique and diverse locations – especially when the areas are meaningful to the couples. I’m looking forward to documenting Jody and Kevin’s wedding day in August.

Debbie & Jerry – 7/1/07
I’ve really been looking forward to this engagement session as I have known Debbie since my days at Kent State University. She is also good friends with my sister-in-law Shannon, who will be in Debbie and Jerry’s wedding this September. I spent the morning with this fun, urban couple shooting near the Center Street swing bridge and exploring the Flats. This area offers fantastic backdrops.

Genna & Steven – 6/30/07
What a great day. I knew this was going to be a fun wedding when I met Genna, Steven and this charismatic bride’s spirited parents last winter. The couple was married at St. Clare Church in Lyndhurst and had a classy reception at the Wydham near Playhouse Square in Cleveland. The night was highlighted by heartwarming toasts, a touching slideshow and a lot of dancing.
